Paper and plastic carrier bag jog testing

Test-Tech has been testing paper and plastic bags for major retailers for over 10 years.  Jog testers provide different degrees of energy input to simulate walking along with a bag containing groceries or other goods. At Test-Tech we can match your bags with the right level of energy input by choice of tester, load, stroke, stroke rate etc.

Two jog testers have always been available: a gentle cam-lift unit complies with French standard NF H 34-010.  A second, very stringent unit, is a fully pneumatic jog tester which has helped develop a major retailer’s carrier bag quality whilst supporting a move to fully recycled content.

A new device produced by Brugger (Germany) has a cam-lift with free-fall which now fills the gap in stringency between the two existing units.
